All use of the 3x3 marks must be with FIBA’s consent and under FIBA’s control.

3x3 is considered the number one urban team sport in the world. Simple and flexible enough to be played anywhere by anybody with a hoop, a half-court and six players, events can be staged outdoor and indoor, often taking place in iconic locations to bring basketball directly to the people.

3x3 has been a basketball format long played in streets and gyms across the world, albeit in a less formal way.

Played on a half-court with 3 players per team (plus 1 substitute), 3x3 is a dynamic, fast-paced game where teams race to 21 points or fight for victory in 10 thrilling minutes. With a 12-second shot clock, every possession is intense, requiring speed, skill, and strategy.
