"Allow Workflow App Control" refers to a setting or permission that allows specific applications to interact with and control workflows, particularly within the Apple Automator application or the Shortcuts app.
You can control the System Volume and it will have a relative effect on Apple Music, but does not change the volume level you set in the app. The Apple TV app also works the same way. It would be overcomplicating to have an app control their own volume and the OS controlling the volume of the app and the OS controlling the overall system volume.

When I connect my Dell monitor to my macbook (M1 Pro), the volume control is disabled. The sound plays, but I cannot control the volume from the keyboard. I tried to install the app 'monitorcontrol', but I still cannot adjust the volume on my monitor from the keyboard. This works on my Windows PC connected to same monitor. What is the trick to enable this?
