He went on to form Fiat Roosevelt Motors which took over the main importation of Fiats in the 1960s and was here during the heyday of Fiat (Fiat sold over 100,000 cars alone in 1975) before the importation was taken over by Fiat Motors of North America in the mid - late 70s. Fiats don't have as high a reliability rating as some other makes but they are also more fun to own and cheaper to buy. I'd never buy a used car w/o an independent mechanic checking it over.
