We used to always get the ATT&T cruise pkg. Recently off Explorer only having the Voom Surf-n-Stream and easily put my iPhone on air plane mode and used wifi calling for texts. Worked out well.
The ATT international passport daily plan works off your phone plan messaging and data, and if you have a few port days in a row you really can make this a good investment. Plus an extra phone on the plan is only $5. If we have to make a call while at sea it is $1.99 a minute from your cabin. We have found that you can say a lot in one minute- lol!

AT&T has started a cruise package so you can use your phone while cruising without incurring all the roaming fees, etc. I was just pricing it, and it is cheaper than the social media package on Carnival. Has anyone used the AT&T package yet? How did it work for you?
The ATT basic cruise package is really easy to go over on your data. The cruise plus package is $100, and gives you more data but again you can go over if not careful.
