What's different about US Audio Mart and Audiogon is that you occasionally get amazing deals, like I was able to purchase a Hifi Rose RS250 for $500 (normally sells for least 2-3 times that, used) because the person (who was a frequent buyer and seller on the site) was just looking to sell it quickly.
Since placing the listing I got an offer from a buyer on US Audio Mart who just joined the site. I responded to his offer asking if he had feedback from other audio sites.
Are there sites similar to US Audio Mart or Audiogon in Europe? One other question. Not sure if I will go to an integrated that does everything or go back to separates like I had. I had almost all American (US, Canada) brands and would like to support some European brands when I'm settled in Portugal. Any suggestions?
Dealing with known sellers with positive feedback like here on SH, AVS, US Audio Mart, Discogs and other similar sites is the way to go IMO. Of course with payment via Paypal for added protection.
