Well, the original Blackstone pizza oven works pretty well with a passive stone on top and a rotating one on the bottom. In addition, the rotating stone greatly reduces the "Ooni Effect", where the same side of the pizza is incinerated by the direct flame unless you turn the pizza every 15 seconds.
