Here is an important update to admission practices that you may want to read: Caltech Announces Updates to Admissions Practices | www.caltech.edu Key update, in my opinion is, Caltech is REA now i.e. one can not apply EA to both Caltech and MIT. I’ve always heard of these uber-accomplished applicants getting rejected from Caltech, but that’s really only because those are the stories that people hyperfixate on and gravitate to—the stories the algorithms pick up. Many times, too, the people you see online are just straight-up lying.
