Clix Hair

The Clix 500 (or E-Z Flow 500) with the all metal head is a great shaving razor; one of the my favorite non-Gillette vintage DEs. I find it a medium-aggressive razor, which for me is the sweet spot.

This one was included in a small lot. Has what looks like either a bakelite or plastic handle. I am curious as to when these were made. Is anyone familiar with a Clix razor made in USA ?

Clix was a division of Conrad who supplied razors to many in the 30s and 40s. The Clix Razors, of which I know three configurations, look to mostly appear 1944-47 (blades came earlier).

Simplex and Clix were common, neither aggressive. Both good razors. Sent from my LG-US998 using Tapatalk Yes! The Clix is awesome. Tech-like and mild, but I like it better than the Tech.

Not an expert but have a couple of Clix and here is what I've found out so far, Clix were made in the 1940s by the Conrad Razor Blade co of NY .They produced Tech style DE razors with gun metal caps and plastic handles and Gillette type Bakelite safety bar guides .
