Desktop Icons backgrounds Does anyone know any program or any method to have Windows desktop icons displayed with the text on a solid colour background (see photo). The only one I know is Iconoid which produces what is shown in photo.
If you change colours again (or even just put a tick in the Settings > Personalisation > Colours > Choose your colour > Automatically pick an accent colour from my background checkbox) then the contents of the registry entries will just get re-populated automatically.
After moving something to the wrong place again today it occurs to me that it would be nice if the background of each window was a different colour or at least a different shade of the same colour.
Hi You can change the background colour of any window implemented by file explorer using Qttabbar (free) by Quizo. Search the forum for Qttabbar for examples.
