I'm wondering what people think of the air reels you can install in front of your regular reel, i.e. the Crary Wind System. This would be for lentils. Does it help stop picking up the small rocks that the reel flicks up. How much dust does it create. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank...
I haven't heard numbers from our neighbors, but talking to them after harvest, it sounded like the green lightning worked. On the other combine forum, someone posted plot results for the green lightning, if you want to go check them out.
Ford 611 is the only ford combine that was painted red, and was built by oliver for ford before the contract with claas. the Ford 642 and the 622 were the last models on the ford combine line. the 611 was the first, 620, 630 and 640 were the next models up from the 611.
The first combine my dad ever owned was a New Holland 980 with a gas engine. This was in the early 1970's. I can't seem to find any pictures of this particular combine at home or on the internet. Does anyone have any info or pictures of this machine?
