HomeServe reports that a condensate drain line is crucial for air conditioners, preventing moisture buildup and potential water damage.
condensation water draining in to it, the bldg. sanitary sewer system will be trapped at some point, even if I connect to a wet vent. Restating my conundrum: An RDP has put language in to a set of plans stating that the condensation drain lines should be connected directly to the bldg. sanitary sewer system, ...without any wording or Code ...
If the temperature differential can allow condensation, the only remedy is drying, which is usually a function of air movement. Any enclosed rafter assembly or non-vented attic makes me nervous.
Is the flap closing tightly? The flap “catches” on the bottom of the door opening and allows warm air penetration thus the condensation. This tends to be an issue with this model. I added a nylon washer to the bottom left door pin which raises the door enough so the flap closes freely.
Hi jfcody3962, Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum. The drain activity may not imply defrosting. It might be condensation from an air leak. 4 door refrigerators usually have a flap on one door that rotates into place when the door closes, in order to seal the gap between doors. If that flap doesn't close properly, or if you have a problem with the door seals, warm air will enter the ...
Re: Front cap leak... It seems like I have read of water in the front cap not from usual leakage, but assumably from air condensation. This might take a lot of thread searching to find these posts, so hopefully the people who had this problem will chime in. Florida this time of year has a LOT of water in the air. Other threads mention checking the proper water sealing of the marker lights. On ...
