Our ambulance services have been in operation since 1981, leading the way as forward-thinking pioneers in out-of-hospital emergency medicine.
The ambulance services of Emergent Health Partners participate in Member Plus. This includes Huron Valley Ambulance, Jackson Community Ambulance, Monroe Community Ambulance, Lenawee Community Ambulance, Albion Community Ambulance, and LifeCare Ambulance.
Over the past four decades, we have continued to grow, expanding our services across Washtenaw County and throughout southern Michigan. In 2012 our Board of Trustees created Emergent Health Partners, which owns and operates HVA as well as five other ambulance services throughout southern Michigan. Altogether Emergent Health’s EMS agencies serve over 1 million Michigan residents.
The Center for EMS Education’s EMT Work-Training program is a full-time, 16-week work-study program. Students enrolled in this program are paid employees of Emergent Health Partners while training to become Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs).
