I'm hearing a rumor of a Walmart Neighborhood Market in vicinity of 168th and State (ie the State Street jump project area). Meaningful for me, as I live in Bennington proper and it's currently about 6 miles to groceries on Maple. I feel like there's more than enough residential to support this or a Fareway up here.
Obviously, Fareway has succeeded despite being closed Sundays, but it feels like most people grocery shop on the weekends and there's certainly a lot of "Oh, shoot, forgot the _____" shopping that happens Sunday nights.
