Kia is smart, they make the throttle very touchy so you want to buy the car when you test drive it, and so it doesn't feel like the engine is struggling to move the SUV weight, that's fine. But if you want good mpg you have to pretend there is an egg in between your foot and the pedal. Then downhill lift off the foot to activate EV mode.
Kia seems to have backed off on their previous language warning of horrific consequences if you don't update with the car running. I let the car run in Park anyway. I have yet to find any significant updates in the map. Street names continue to be scattershot and random, with more showing up as you zoom in.
