More than 82 percent of Forsythe refuge is wetlands, of which 78 percent is salt marsh, interspersed with shallow coves and bays. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge provides excellent opportunities for both deer and migratory bird hunting. All hunting is conducted following state and federal regulations and there are additional refuge-specific regulations; it is the hunter’s responsibility to know the applicable regulations.
