I have the T4 gazelle tent and the 5 sided gazelle gazebo and a 2 door jeep. Before I got my roof rack I was able to fit it from tailgate to the inside shoulder of the passenger seat. Strap it to the rollbar. But only my dog Hodor rides with me he doesn't mind it, but a human passenger might feel a little tight.
Again Gazelle spent some extra time on the sewing and I don’t see the zipper coming unstitched over the lifetime of the tent. The Bag itself is very heavy duty constriction compared to other tents I have looked at. Gazelle chose a great fabric to construct the protective bag.
The Gazelle T4 stores in the back of my van behind the passenger seat in the off-season. My 2 boys routinely set up the tent in 60 seconds or less by not using the rain fly on a 5 week camping trip.
Is anyone hauling a Gazelle strapped to cross bars? I've ordered some temporary cross bars until I get a Chief rack some time early next year, but that means the tent would be suspended on the two bars.
