Is there any faster way to plant nether wart besides planting individually because the basket of seeds does not work?
The Nether Wart Pouch is a RARE Item that can plant an entire row of Nether Wart at a time.
Then, with your farm layout complete, I recommend obtaining a nether wart pouch to plant all the warts instantly. Also letting you know, nether wart regrows fairly fast, and water or lava of any sort doesn't really affect it's growth.

It can also be gathered from Nether Wart farms and Nether Wart Minions on your Private Island.
