In order to do this I need to print from my software to PDF an 8.5" Tall x 500+" Long (Laterally) file to a single PDF page that scrolls horizontally continuously.
I have a customer having issues with printing PDF files. They have Acrobat DC Standard, and can open any PDF just fine, however when attempting to print nothing happens. Acrobat doesn't even appear to send the print job to the printer. We've tested on multiple printers and the problem is the same...
If it's one page that you want to print 2-up on a single horizontal page, you must make a 2-page PDF of the same document. Then the Mutliple option with 2 by 1 selected with horizontal page order selected as well, will work.
Earlier I disabled print to pdf as an option and can't get it to come back up.
You can't change margins in a PDF. You can: change the margins in the source document (Word, InDesign, etc.) and export a new PDF scale the PDF when printing resize the text frames if there aren't too many frames or pages. Make a copy first, as it may or may not work. ~ Jane
Set "Print Optimization" to "Optimize for Text and Graphics". Check the PDF for Corruption Some PDFs contain corrupted or complex images. Try: Opening the PDF in Adobe Acrobat and saving it again as a new file. Using the "Optimize PDF" feature in Adobe Acrobat to reduce complexity. I hope this helps. Take care and have a good day.
