What Happened to Sending Reset Signal to Modem | Xfinity Community Forum

I try to do a hard reset and use the restart modem option on the xfinity app and sometimes nothing happens. Sometimes it comes online for 10 secs. Eventually I give up and will come back hours later and it’s working.
