I put Mag1 aw46 in my new holland skid steer and other excavators; it's available from lowes for the best price on hydro oil I've seen, about $25/2.5 gal. Bobcat "proven performance" oil goes for about $65/2.5 gal. Here's the chart from the t740 service manual regarding hydro oil.
Also the cat tech said that they where separate hydro pumps for the tracks and the boom, Do you guys know where this relief valve is located on the machine?? Thanks Chuck
Pump was sent out to an independent hydro shop that claimed they had a good housing and would swap out the good new parts ($8,000) and bench test pump for $10,000 (could have got a cat remand for $17,000 in the beginning). After the pump was put in the cat tech came out and set all the pressures and machine ran fine for about 80 Hrs. (8 months).

Hydro boost was in early stages of internal failure. Kelsy Hayes elect brake system and it sets alarm that only a scanner can disable. Drove the owner nuts having to drive home with alarm chiming. And I learned the owner did just pay another shop for new emg booster motor installation, but I have no info as to why.
