iPhone 15 overheat and battery drain issue I have the basic iPhone 15. For the past 5 months it was working great, but today while I was using messenger and tiktok, it suddenly started overheating (the back of the phone) and my battery was draining very quickly. From 29% to 22 in like 7 minutes.
Overheating on an iPhone is when you see a Thermometer on the screen with a warning the phone can't be used until it cools down. Since you're not seeing that, your iPhone is NOT overheating. But generating heat doing advanced and battery intensive activities will generate heat naturally.
Overheating only applies when the iPhone is operating beyond its normal temperature range and would shut down to display a warning message. If you don’t see that, you can continue to use your iPhone normally.
