Ir6 Green Card

I received my IR6 10 year marriage based green card this year upon approval of my AOS application in January 2024. At the time of approval, I had been married well over 2 years so it wasn't classified as IR6 by mistake. All of the info on the card is correct - listed as IR6 with a 10-year expiration date.

All of the info on the card is correct - listed as IR6 with a 10-year expiration date. Today I just received a "Reminder to File Form I-751" notice from uscis.

I think this may be a case of me just knowing too much about immigration stuff for my own good. How many average green card holders know or even care what their category code means? If USCIS chose to put my wife in the IR6 category, who are we to argue? She'll still be eligible to apply for citizenship later this year.

If I received my IR6 green card because I married a US citizen and we divorced after 6 years from our marriage does that mean Im here illegally now? I have green card good for 10 years....
