The Katana FxFloorboard was designed by a working musician and is much more fun and productive. I won’t say anything bad about the Mustang, but I did try one about 10 years ago and it was not for me.

PS- Also try running the gain knob up on the Katana. If the signal is that weak with your normal setting, then it should take considerable gain before it starts distorting from the line out.

I have a Boss Katana and it has a Volume Knob and a Master Volume knob. I searched the forum and only go more confused as to settings, purpose of the master etc, but no clarity. 1. What is the difference/purpose of the Master volume vs the volume. 2. What do different settings/combinations get me. Apologize for the dumb question.
