A Great Leather Tote Is the Most Useful Bag a Man Can Own
The color of Todd's boots is pretty similar to the 405's.The lining on the inside is leather. Before, the 405's used to have cotton lining, but now the standard lining for them is leather.
Does anyone know what was used as bolster material in the whips, particularly in the Raiders whip? The research I've done has led to me conclude everything that was leather was kangaroo hide,
Chrome, leather, rubber, and lovingly waxed metal were the order of the day, as the scent of hamburgers and barbecue mingled with the smell of clean motor oil and high-octane gasoline.
The leather used was a much darker shade than other Jacka Indy 4's that I've owned (as Terry notes that he can make no guarantees on the color because he doesn't tan the hides himself.) It's more of a whiskey, or reddish brown color with the standard saddle tan knots.
LEATHER FACING ON THE ZIPPERThere is NO leather facing on the zipper which helps maintain the drape of the leather on the front of the jacket. Below you can see the leather facing on the bottom back interior of the jacket. STORM FLAPThe storm flap appears to be 1.5 inches in width, which seems standard on all the Indy movie jackets.
Look, we love a weekender here at GQ. Lord knows we can get behind backpacks of all sizes and purposes. But in terms of sheer convenience and variety, it’s hard for any bag to top the humble tote.
