Hi, I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me narrow down the production date of this Levis Type III jacket?
My Levis buffalo one is probably the favorite I've come across but it was a little too thin and lacked long term evolution potential. Mine was a newer version, but I've heard some of the older buffalo were actually end game level.
Hey all, I'm looking for a high quality Sherpa lined denim or canvas jacket for cooler temps. I'd prefer a Type 3 style, but I'm open to other ideas. I'm trying to find something with better fit and quality than Levis. Any ideas?
I paid $10 apiece for my two denim truckers. One, an unlined Old Navy clone of the classic Levis Type III, with handwarmers and inside pockets. Close fitting, lovely color and fading, classic, not high end, not supposed to be. And $10 for my Levis sherpa-lined. I wish it had an inside pocket, but it's OK without it. Go to a rodeo and see what the cowboys wear. Also the brand and cut of the jean is important. Wrangler Cowboy Cut jeans work best with boots as they have a little boot cut, Levis are straight legged and won't lay over the boot as well. A lot of Buckaroo cowboys wear Levi's but you will only see Wranglers at the rodeo. SGB
