And fully agree releasing the kit as Mechagodzilla is genius, they could even release that version first since Grimlocks out and don't have to worry about color matching like with the Godzilla version.
They allegedly also planned a Ready Player One Mechagodzilla but they lost the license before it could enter production, though its long been rumored the third party "Grim Dragon" that appeared on aliexpress used a stolen Neca Mechagodzilla mold.
Sadly no Mechagodzilla, but im super stoked with both the translucent yellow Ghidorah and the golden Godzilla. Hard to image getting better pulls, though I dont know all the variants.
For this Mechagodzilla specifically though, and not just in general, it is curious that the usual options are all $10+ more than at BBTS. I didn’t thoroughly check everywhere but this might be the best spot for this particular figure now.
I've got Heisei Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, and MinusGoji. I was pretty excited for some easy to find, relatively cheap articulated Godzilla figures but I wasn't too impressed with the Heisei Godzilla and while Mechagodzilla was fine I didn't think he was worth the price. I like MinusGoji, though. That FinalGoji looks cool, I like the stylized look.
