Mimikyu depends on Life Orb to threaten many Pokemon, which causes it to wear itself down with each attack. This, in combination with the damage Mimikyu takes upon Disguise being broken, and various forms of passive damage, means that Mimikyu's longevity is quite poor, and can cause it to KO itself if played around appropriately.
