The new mizuno pro lineup to be announced this fall will have replacement irons for the 243 and 245. The signature line is on a separate release schedule so noone knows when the S2 and S4 will be announced.
Since Mizuno dropped the Tour iron out of the JPX line and the blade out of the Pro line, they have the same number of irons as they did before the Signature line. If anything, they just reorganized their iron category The overlap now is with the JPX Forged, JPX HM Pro, and the "3" model in the Pro line.
The shaft makes all the difference. Was fitted into Mizuno 241 with Nippon Modus 120 S flex, coming from Mizuno MP 4 w/ Modus 120 X flex. Can definitely feel the position of the club face very well. Titleist was at our club last fall, guy had me hitting T100/150. My father was gaming T100S w/ Project X LZ 6.0 which I found pretty similar to Modus.
