What is The Mound House? Museum Our six exhibit museum details nearly 2,000 years of cultural and environmental history of our site. Home to many different cultures including Calusa, Seminole, Latino, and Anglo-Americans; our site reflects the many layers of Southwest Florida's history!
Mound House Members and Children 5 years of age and younger are free. Museums for All Member. SNAP recipient receive free museum admission for up to four (4) people per SNAP Card. Veterans and Active Duty Military Receive Free Admission Teachers receive free admission. Fort Myers Beach residents receive half-off admission price.
Other Facilities at Mound House Visitors can enjoy a scenic observation pier with opportunities to fish and learn about the ecology of Estero Bay through interpretive panels.
