Looks like a future star. Anyone know which racquet he's using and the specs? Saw a decent bit of lead on the sides.

Think about it as number on your stringing machine, when you string the racquet, with that particular string for that customer. If they like the number 53 then string it with 53.

I agree with you about finding a racquet company that offers the 5/8 grip. I use that grip size as well and the racquet companies seem to think everyone needs small grip sizes. ProKennex offers 4 5/8" grip sizes on its models. Prince offers it on racquets for advanced players.

Less weight and SW for the oversize racquet. Force = Mass x Acceleration. Unless you swing the bigger racquet way faster, it is hard to make up for the lower SW of about 35 kg-cm2.

Imo the switch to an 18 mains racquet makes a lot of sense for his game. He probably would have done well with a gravity pro too but he is a yonex guy. Of course he would do well with any racquet.

The racquet will swing just as easily, but it'll pound the ball mercilessly compared to what you're used to. I would start with 2G at noon but I agree that you can get more power with a little lead in the head. I buy for feel, control and comfort with intent to customize for power and stability.
