Building one-way roads One-way roads are built by using the normal road build tools and clicking on the one-way road button. Roads will then be one-way in the direction they are dragged. One-way roads may also be built over previously built roads, but only if they are player-owned. Only the entrance tile to a stretch of roads needs to be one-way.
Roadway construction - Build either bus stations and truck stations, and connect them with roads for Buses and trucks. Waterway construction - Build Water Transport Tiles, buoys, Water Transport Tiles for Ships to follow. Airport construction - Build Airports and direct planes between them.

Use town-owned and competitor-owned roads rather than building your own. Remember to make sure to use fast vehicles, have frequent pickups, keep waiting cargo low, and buy a town statue. All of these improve your station ratings, which are key to increasing industry production and cargo throughput.
(town_layout = [0..4]) Select how towns should build their roads. You can choose between the default algorithm (0), an improved algorithm (1), a 2x2 grid (2), a 3x3 grid (3) or random (4). The random setting picks one of the four option randomly for each town.
