UQ-Ochsner students spend most of their time year 3/4 at the main Ochsner hospital. There are some satellite sites where you can be assigned for a couple weeks for some rotations, but most of them are within reasonable driving distance from main campus.
Without a doubt Ochsner is the strongest IM program in Louisiana. I have rotated there, and the residents are very happy. They have a nice mix of indigent and private pay patients and a good lifestyle. UQ-Ochsner only starts in January because the academic year in Australia runs from January through November. If you wanted to start in January 2025, you'd need to apply ASAP (in the next couple months ideally).

Ochsner admin are the frontline staff who work in support of current students at Ochsner on rotations. Ochsner people also manage the interviews of applicants, interview day, etc.
UQ-Ochsner will continue to accept applications and conduct interviews for the 2026 intake on a rolling basis until all seats are filled. July 7 is the deadline for second round of interview.
