Hotdogs for pike Been out 10 times this season for perch & pike and have done really well with the pike by using a hotdog on a tip-up. I've iced numerous large pike this season and am ready to pickle a few gallon bags of pike loins. Nicknames for Northern Pike LOL on the F'n pike thing. kind of like the time a I was pulling in a big Red Snapper and a barracuda flashed by and all i landed was a head...never even felt the barracuda hit it...some people i talk to (non fisherman) ask what a Pike is ...I tell them it the equivalent to afresh water barracuda.
