Christopher Robin, fictional character, an English boy whose adventures with Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, and other animals are the basis of the stories in the classic children’s books Winnie-the-Pooh (1926) and The House at Pooh Corner (1928) by A.A. Milne.
The first book about Winnie the Pooh, simply entitled "Winnie-the-Pooh", by Alan Alexander Milne was published on October 14th 1926. The character of Christopher Robin was inspired by the author's son Christopher Robin Milne, and Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga and Roo by the boy's beloved stuffed toys.
