Rambutan Fruit tree in California The closest thing you will see to it fruiting is if you buy some South American fruit from the store and place them under the tree. Any opinions about how Rambutan fruit compare with that of Pulisan, other than Pulisan fruit doesn't have the hairy spines? I love Rambutan fruit but I've never had Pulisan fruit. Rambutan: R-167 vs. Seelengkeng Some recent images for comparison. My daughter and her teenage friends were eating the R-167's like candy until I gave them some Seelengkeng, at which point they ignored the former fruits and devoured the latter. Basically, my approach is the same. In the trees, the 167 is the first, bright red fruit.

Growing Rambutan in Southern California I just spoke with my friend who I received the tree from. He said it would be really weird if coffee came up in the three places he planted the rambutan seeds, but said its possible given he has a small, fruiting coffee plant growing in his yard.
