Change what’s on your Home screen on Android If no app is open, your Home screen will appear. By default, your main Home screen shows the date, weather, and a few apps.

Move your apps, shortcuts, widgets, and groups off the Home screen. After the last one is removed, the Home screen will be removed.

You can see the time on your Home screens by adding a widget from the Clock app. Add a clock widget Touch and hold any empty section of a Home screen. At the bottom of the screen, tap Widgets.
