The opening animation doesn't play, it just opens a white tabbed screen, then a full screen black and flashes between the two until it hits the windowed 'Sims 4' tab that can't be closed.
sims looks sharp, i have edge smoothing high, what to do? is it suppose to look like this? the sims didn't look like this before.

If that doesn't help either, uninstall any other Razer apps you have: Synapse, Cortex, whatever you can find. It may be fine to reinstall them later, but please hold off until Sims 4 is working again. And just to be clear, if you haven't removed the entire Mods folder, please do so while testing.
