Yeah, ideally I think a new SNK crossover should be like a mix between MotM and SvC Chaos with the really "out there" roster picks but also fun callbacks and references to each other's history.
My Dream Roster for a Capcom vs. SNK would be both sides dipping into their non-fighting games (So kinda like SvC tried to do) and not as popular stuff. Like give me Size appropriate versions of the Metal Slug crew, pull from those random SNK arcade games in their collection, and have Capcom start pulling out stuff from the vault-like Red Earth, Dino Crisis, and Rival Schools.
