My LHBS is quoting me about $180 for a 10 lb CO2 tank, with $40 refills; they want $50 for a used keg as well. Is it me, or are they screwing me?
How much do you pay for a CO2 tank? Refill? - Homebrew Talk
Does anyone get there brewing water from one of those Primo RO Water refill stations at Walmart? Seems like a good deal at .37/gallon but as with anything from Walmart, quality can be questionable. I'm worried that it may vary from one store to the next. Anyone ever get a water report on that...

Recently I had to refill a tank and tried calling a few places in Manhattan that were fire extinguisher type stores. I found a place that is 10 blocks away from my job and that sure beats taking a day off or a leaving a few hours early to travel to remote parts of Queens.
I'm in the Atlanta area and Brew Depot charges 16 bucks to refill a 5# tank. The old shop I used to go to charged me like $30 to do an exchange. Would rather refill my nice shiny tanks. Doesn't matter either way I guess, but they are somewhat nicer to look at. I paid thirty bucks to fill my nitrogen (beer gas) tank at Sidney Lee Welding Supply.
Has anyone seen these or used them? I thought they might be nice for my mini regulator setup, instead of being one time use cartridges. How do they get refilled? What kind of adaptor would you use? Does anyone know anything about these?
