Teenagers who are between 13 and 17 years old are usually considered legally children and teenagers. Teenagers who are 18 and 19 years old may be considered both teenagers and legally adults.
Police have charged three teenagers following a series of break-and-enter offences across South Brisbane and the Gold Coast in which multiple people were assaulted. Five people aged 17, 18, 19 and two 16-year-olds were arrested on Wednesday. Two have been released without charge.
