The Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps is a World Class competitive junior drum and bugle corps. Based in Casper, Wyoming, the Troopers was one of the thirteen founding member corps of Drum Corps International (DCI).
Founded in 1957 by Jim Jones in Casper, Wyoming, the Troopers are one of the most historically significant groups in the marching arts. Known as "America s Corps," the Troopers pioneered the modern drum corps touring model and were a founding member of Drum Corps International in 1972.
Paul Tice, a Troopers alumnus of the late 1970s, has been a steadfast supporter of the corps, especially in recent years, having been an active volunteer and serving on the board of directors.
