Previous Uniden firmware have put the GRE/Whistler in the front seat with a much better digital signal handling than what Uniden managed to do. /Ubbe With all versions, I’ve found the SDS series to be nearly the equal, with a considerable improvement in intelligibility over the non-SDS models. The GRE et al models are still a bit more crisp.
