I should also note that I do all marketing (via vrbo), rent collecting, bill paying, property management and light maintenance myself. If I was paying someone to do that it would take a big chunk out my return.
Is it going the same route as Miami, in that a bunch of wealthy foreigners just park their cash in high rise condos that just sit vacant? A significant amount of the highrise condos in Miami end up being on the short-term rental market (Airbnb, VRBO, etc).
