I practically lived on the lower Detroit River and Lake Erie for 15 years anyway, as most of these guys that posted on this thread have, so just you'll get lots of river advice from someone. One spot to check out and that gets 1/10 the walleye fishing pressure that the river or Trenton channel gets is the other side of Grosse Ile.
I'm new to walleye fishing on the det. river, but I've been on the river for years for the silver bass run, and i'd use a 1 or 2 ounce weight with a small jig/regular hook with a minnow and that worked for silvers, but apparently, it's way different for walleye, right? is that setup I described location specific, and it'll work, right?
