Solar Cover on day and nite. If it is a solar cover it actually helps to warm the pool with it on during the day and cuts down on evaperation. Hence the name "Solar Cover". If you leave it on during the day you can actually feel the upper portion of the pool is alot warmer than deeper down.
If your spa is bigger or isn't covered, I urge you to bit the bullet and get a gas heater. You will need the additional output to keep it warm. As mentioned before, look on Craigslist. Someone all the time is getting tired of feeding their pool and will put a heater on sale. Bob E.
Cover on during the day then you will get warm water!! Have fun in your warm pool. My cover wore out and my water is in the upper 60's and will fall even more this week with cooler nite and day.
