There is another crystal on the PCB, an 8Mhz crystal, and it shows a nice sinusoidal waveform on both sides. Is the crystal malfunctioning or does the IC alter the waveform reading?

What is the difference between wave, waveform, and signal? Or do they have the same meaning? Can they be used in place of one another?

I have an arbitrary waveform generator that allows me to set the load as 50 Ω or high-Z. This generator is connected to an amplifier that has as input an unbalanced BNC connector, 10 kΩ, single-end...

Saving the waveform as an image takes away a lot of important features, this is what I do at present but want to know how to save the wave itself for later use in the wave editor???

I'm trying to understand the meaning of 8 x 20-µs and 10 x 1000-µs standardized transient impulses (or sometimes it's called a waveform). But what does it actually mean.

I know that we (typically) get 120 V AC in USA, but what does the waveform look like? Can anyone post a pic? How many phases are there, and what's the peak voltage?

The circuit below is an RC differentiator (RC high pass filter.) The input and output waveforms: I can understand this. Mainly due to capictor charging and discharging. How about an RC integrator...
