Rotary International is the organization of service clubs with the largest membership in the world, with 1.9 million volunteers, including all the members of clubs that make up the Rotary family, namely Rotary, Interact and Rotaract clubs.
In its 65 years of glorious functioning, the club has carried out many humanitarian and social projects in Trissur and its suburbs. The club has a great tradition of contributing handsomely to The Rotary foundation every year and has many major donors.
In June 1997 a group of service minded Rotarians from the erstwhile Rotary Club of Trichur with a bunch of enthusiastic youngsters joined hands to form the Rotary Club of Trichur Central.
